2010 Finlandia Homecoming
HANCOCK, MI – The perfect chance to show your Finlandia University school spirit is coming up soon! Finlandia University students and alumni will kick off the university’s annual Homecoming celebration on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14, 2010, with a bonfire at 8:00 p.m. at Finlandia Hall. The theme of Homecoming 2010 is “Celebrity Spot, Catch ‘em Looking Hot!” for which three special “dress-up” days have been designated. Also scheduled throughout the week of February 14 are outdoor and indoor games, video games, a dance, and Fan Appreciation Week activities before and during men’s and women’s home basketball and hockey games. Homecoming 2010 t-shirts will also be for sale. All Finlandia University students, faculty, and staff, as well as Suomi College alumni and friends, are invited to join in the festivities. Homecoming 2010 is sponsored by the university’s Student Senate, in conjunction with Finlandia’s Alumni Relations office.
