Michigan Tech
will host the 2010 NCAA Divison II Midwest Women's Basketball
Regional. The Huskies are the top seed and will face
eighth-seeded Northern Kentucky at 6 p.m., Friday, March 12, in
a quarterfinal game.
The other three quarterfinals for
Friday are:
No. 3 Drury vs. No. 6 Southern Indiana, 12 p.m.
No. 2 Indianapolis vs. No. 7 Northern Michigan, 2:30 p.m.
No.
4 Wisconsin-Parkside vs. No. 5 Findlay, 8:30 p.m.
The
semifinals are set for Saturday, March 13. The Drury/Southern
Indiana winner will face the Indianapolis/Northern Michigan
winner at 5 p.m. The Michigan Tech/Northern Kentucky winner will
take on the UW-Parkside/Findlay winner at 7:30 p.m.
The
2010 Midwest Regional Championship game will be played at 7
p.m., Monday, March 15.
All games will be played at the
SDC Gymnasium.
General admission tickets for the
tournament are on sale now at the SDC Ticket Office or by
calling 906-487-2073. Current season ticket holders will have
until 7 p.m., Thursday, March 11, to purchase reserved tickets.
