Ontonagon Elementary Students
Perform Holiday Concert

Ontonagon - December 19, 2009

The Ontonagon Elementary School held its 2009 Christmas Program on Thursday afternoon. The students in Kindergarten through fifth grade participated in the event. The show was directed by Ontonagon Schools Music Director, Ben Mayor. The students were accompanied by Yvonne Blake.

The afternoon began with the Kindergarten class singing "Must Be Santa". They were very, very good. All the students who performed did an excellent job.

The first grade students shared the stage with the second graders and performed ""Jingle Bells" and Jolly Old St. Nicholas".

Students from the second and third grades performed the last act prior to the intermission. They sang "Up on the Housetop" and "O' Christmas Tree".

Following refreshments student members of the 4-H club presented a play "The Twelve Days of Christmas".

The third grade students again took the stage for the second time. This time they split their performance with their  fourth grade counterparts.

The program concluded with members of the fifth grade class, who sang "Jingle Bells - Silver Bells" and "Deck the Halls".
