Shedding Cabin Fever

Ironwood/Houghton - April 20, 2009

From Ironwood to Houghton folks were leaving their cabin fever behind this past weekend and taking off for spring shopping.  In Ironwood, the action was at the Pat O'Donnell Civic Center, where the Annual Spring Craft Show took place. Vendors selling every kind of arts and crafts imaginable were on hand at the Pat. The Spring craft show like the Home Show prove how the Civic Center earns its keep in Ironwood.

Home Show At The Copper Country Mall

At the Copper Country Mall in Houghton there were plenty of shoppers out looking for items to improve their homes. Many shoppers told us they would be fixing up and staying home for the near future. Perhaps the national recession will be a plus to local business men and women.
