2010 Porcupine Mountain Music Festival

PORCUPINE MOUNTAINS WILDERNESS STATE PARK - The 2010 Porcupine Mountain Music Festival was a great success. The ingredients of this success story include of course the magnificent beauty of park, considered to be the Crown Jewel of Michigan's State Park system. Of course another obvious ingredient is the fantastic performers that come to Festival each year. And each year, the performers and performances keep getting better and better, like a bottle of fine wine.

But, an ingredient maybe less obvious is the wonderful volunteers that work year round to make this event the success story that it has become. Wherever you looked while at the Festival, there would be one of the dedicated 120 Festival Volunteers.  Spectators were never far away from a Festival worker. The volunteers did a terrific job and were a big reason for the Festival's success.

The growth and great success of this festival doesn't come easy. It's a year long endeavor of many people. This years event was the collaborative effort of 120 volunteer workers, and to the dedicated sponsors and donors , without whom, this great U.P. event would not be possible.
