The event was organized by Director of Student Support Services,  Dayle Jackson.  Dayle was on location making sure everything was running smoothly, and it was. She also was overseeing a bean bag toss that was very popular. Participants won small prizes regardless of their accuracy.

These civic minded young ladies were seeking donations for DOVE.
Once again there were representatives from Wells Fargo on campus to introduce their companiy's services that GCC students.
Seeking writers and authors. Students could volunteer for positions on the GCC Newspaper the Chieftain.

Due to a malfunction of the Gas Grill, the cooking was done inside by Master Chefs and Master Chefettes.

The weather was a typical fall day, when early morning clouds gave way to sunshine. Students could enjoy their meals outdoors in the commons area or eat indoors in front of the fireplace.

The buffet was substantial. It was substantial enough to satisfy the appetite of any young adult regardless of their caloric burn rate.  The menu was full of carbs, potato salads, macaroni salads you name it. There were healthy foods too including the Veggie Burgers that sat unnoticed sandwiched between the Brats and Real Hamburgers.  Of course there were plenty of student fantasy foods (cookies).
