TROUT CREEK - The Trout Creek Library held
it's fifth Photography Exhibit, at Trinity Lutheran Church
on Saturday. This year's event was exceptional. with
approximately 25 exhibitors and over 70 photographs. Pictured
above show organizer, Janet Dellaria provides information on
photos exhibited by
Sue Ann Oinas, who was unable to attend Saturday's show. Oinas
Photo on far left finished third in a photo contest, and will be
published on the 2011 Great Lakes Calendar. There were nearly
two hundred entries in the calendar contest.
The photo exhibit included
photographers of varied skill levels. Entries from novice to
professional photographers provided visitors with a variety of
images. Photographs on exhibit included both color and black
and white. Photographers also exhibited both digital and film
photography.
There was no admission charge to view the show nor was there an
entry fee for photographers. " This is a labor of love rather
than a money making venture." says organizer Janet Dellaria.
This year's show organizers
were Janet Dellaria , June Kotila and Lucy McDonald.
The photo show was once part of the Spring Trout Creek Art Show.
Growth of the Art Show necessitated spinning off the Photo
Exhibit as its own fall show. |
