IRONWOOD - The Downtown Ironwood Development Authority met this past Thursday and on the Agenda was the “Blueprints” plan for downtown. There was an interesting development regarding the Downtown Benchmarks that were given to MSHDA in conjunction with the plan.

Looking through “fresh eyes” City Development Director Merritt Bussiere, has concluded that the original numbers provided to the state were not quite right. Perhaps, they could be considered not quite wrong!

Needless to say, the knights of the rectangle table immediately looked for someone to point the finger at and blame for this horrific event.

City Development Director Merritt Bussiere, has hit the ground running and is working to make up for the time we’ve lost during a year without a Community Development Director.

Merritt has already begun working on a corrected benchmark report to send to MSHDA, the world’s largest wasters of taxpayers’ money.
