IRONWOOD - At last week’s City Commission meeting, James Albert lashed out against the City Commission for failing to treat him fairly. Albert and Steve Frank own the Chronicle through am intermediate holding company The Focus Group.
 
Albert, the on again off again owner of the Chronicle, sits in the alleged media area at the rear of the City Commission Chambers.

Albert complained that the Globe and IronwoodInfo reporters were allowed to sit wherever they pleased. After Albert finished spewing insults at his competition he told the Commissioners that he has hired a New General Manager at the Chronicle and that he would be stepping down and "would no longer be playing this game".

Albert asked the Commissioners was he Media? No one responded to the question, the silence  was “DEAFENING".
