"People, Place and Time: Michigan's Copper Country Through the Lens of J.W. Nara, 1874-1934."
   

HANCOCK, MI - On Wednesday, November 3, at 12:30 p.m., Erik Nordberg, archivist at Michigan Technological University, gave a presentation titled, "People, Place and Time: Michigan's Copper Country Through the Lens of J.W. Nara, 1874-1934." Nordberg will discuss how Nara, a Finnish immigrant to the Copper Country, captured the life and times of the Keweenaw Peninsula with his camera.

A multi-panel exhibit about J.W. Nara and his photographs is on display in the lobby of the Finnish American Heritage Center until early December.
