Huskies Remain at No. 7 in NCAA Regional Poll |

Michigan Tech stayed at No. 7 in the NCAA Division II Football Super Region 3 Rankings, released this week. The rankings are used to determine the teams that will make up the field for the NCAA playoffs beginning Nov. 20. Six teams will be selected from each of the nation's four super regions to comprise the 24-team field. NCAA Super Region Three is made up of the GLIAC, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and several independent institutions. NSIC schools, Minnesota-Duluth and Augustana, were ranked one and two in the poll, followed by Grand Valley State (GLIAC) and Nebraska-Kearney (RMAC). St. Cloud State (NSIC) and Hillsdale (GLIAC) traded positions at No. 5 and No. 6 in the poll. Michigan Tech, which is 7-2 overall and ranked seventh, is ahead of Wayne State (GLIAC), Colorado Mines (RMAC) and Colorado State-Pueblo (RMAC). The 2010 NCAA Division II Football Championship Field will be announced Sunday, Nov. 14, on ESPNews between 3 and 3:30 p.m. (ET). Michigan Tech will play its final regular season game at home Saturday, Nov. 13, against archrival Northern Michigan. Kickoff in the ninth annual battle for the Miner's Cup is set for 1 p.m.
