This weekend the women hit the ice for the first conference games of
the year while the men play their second weekend
UW-Stevens Point goalie Pomering named women's player of the week
UW-Stevens Point sophomore goalie Staci Pomering (Roscoe, Ill. /
Hononegah) has been selected Player of the Week in the Women's
Division for her 40-save performance last weekend in two wins over
St. Thomas. The Pointers and Pomering moved to 4-0 on the season.

UW-Stevens Point junior Niemann named men's player of thee week
UW-Stevens Point junior forward Harrison Niemann (Canton, Mich. /
Novi)
has been named player of the week in the NCHA Men's Division for his
outstanding play last weekend at Bethel and at #15 Hamline. Neimann
notched four points on two goals and two assists, helping UWSP to a
pair
