Ironwood Commemorates Veterans Day

"We commemorate not the victory of war;
we commemorate those who made the victory possible"

IRONWOOD - The residents of Ironwood and the students of the Ironwood Area School District joined together Veterans Day to commemorate the annual event that pays tribute to our country's servicemen and servicewomen; those both deceased and living.

The Students of the Ironwood School District has a long, long history of providing patriotic service to our nation. For a century and a half, young men and young boys have left Ironwood and Ironwood's school to defend democracy both here at home and broad.
