IRONWOOD AT THE PAT......The Polar Bear  Squirts defeated an undefeated Iron Mountain team 4-1, 5-3 and then Sunday defeated Keweenah Bay 7-0 and 10-0.
 
The weekend was highlighted with goals from Tyler Morrison (6), Caleb Baxter (5), C.J. Sorensen (4), Brett Heil and Ethan Roehm each with 3,Nathan Garnell (2), Sydnee Lorenson, David Collins, and Tommy Lundin each with 1 goal each. Assists were tallied by Garnell (5), Roehm, Morrison and Heil each with 4, Baxter(3),Sorensen (2), Travis Collins, Lundin, David Collins, Lorenson, and Hanna Koivisto each with 1 assist. Matthew Clemens took the win on all four games for the polar bears with 2 shutouts. "The kids are really playing their hearts out, and  they practice just as hard. The hard work is paying off and they are having fun. That is the most important part." said coach Scott Kellett.
