Women's Basketball Beats No. 9 Grand Valley
No. 12-ranked Michigan Tech handed No. 9-ranked Grand Valley State
its first loss of the season by holding the Lakers to their lowest
point total of the year. The Huskies won the game between two of the
nation's elite teams by a 60-55 score. Tech is 8-1 this season and
atop the GLIAC North Division with a 5-0 slate.

Men's Basketball Ties Win Total From 2009-10
The men's basketball team has won as many games before Christmas
this season than it did all of last year. The Huskies split games
with Ferris State and Grand Valley State last weekend to move to 9-2
this year. Tech's final record a year ago was 9-18.

Break in the Action: GLI Up Next All of Michigan Tech's teams will
be idle until after Christmas. The hockey team will be the first to
resume competition when it faces Michigan at the 46th annual Great
Lakes Invitational at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Wednesday, Dec.
29.
