The following Gogebic Community College student-athletes are being recognized for their accomplishments during the 2010-11basketball season. Earning NJCAA Division II ALL Region 13 Awards were Ellyn Davies, Jesse Mackey, JJ Borseth, & Tony Laplant. Laplant was also named the Men’s D-II Most Valuable Player in Region 13.

Lady Samsons (14-12) NJCAA D-2 Region 13 Runners-Up

Ellyn Davies 5’9” sophomore forward:

2010-11: 310 points = 11.9 ppg; 166 rebounds = 6.4rpg; 36 assists = 1.4apg; 57 steals = 2.2 spg

Jesse Mackey 5’9” freshman guard:
