2011 Hurley ATV Parade

HURLEY – May 2011

The annual weekend long Hurley ATV Rally began this past Thursday and last night hundreds of ATVs participated in the 26th Annual ATV Parade. The parade began in the field across from the BP station and continued through the trail to Silver Street, where a large crowd gathered to watch the parade.
 
 
The ATV’s rode through downtown Hurley across the river into Ironwood and returned to downtown Hurley, where 51 Ends and the Fun Begins!

In addition to the annual rally included in the activities is a poker run, a Mud Pit and many other events.

Last year Hurley attempted to break the Guinness Record for the largest ATV Parade, the effort fell just 90 ATVs short of 1633 needed to break the current record held by Silver Bay Minnesota.
This year no attempt was made to break the record, however hundreds of families have gathered in Hurley to enjoy the long holiday weekend.

Polar Bear Cookbook
