Bargain hunters were out early
Saturday morning, driving from garage sale to garage
sale during the city wide garage day event.
More than 25 homes were listed on the map that marked a
trail across Ironwood.
At the Pat O’Donnell Civic Center, parking lots
overflowed as large crowds shopped among the many
sellers that purchased space to sell their wares. The
Civic Center also rented tables to the sellers who
needed them.
The decision to sell at the civic center was a good one,
as sellers were exposed to a significant number of
shoppers. Also if the weather had been poor they still
would have exposed to many more shoppers.
Another Rummage Sale at the “Pat” is planned for this
fall.
