Hurley Council Approves License

HURLEY – June 17, 2011
At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, the Hurley council
took action approving what seemed like zillions of
licenses. All giving support to the city’s claim “where
51 ends, and the fun begins”, and it does!The council
approved the recommendation on granting a picnic license
to St. Mary of the Seven Dolors Church for July 31 at
211 5th Avenue South.
Dozens (33) of bar tender licenses were approved for
renewal.
Acting on the recommendations of the Police, Fire and
License Committee the council granted Combination Class
B Beer and Liquor Licenses , Class B Beer, Class A Beer,
Class A Liquor, and Wholesale Beer Licenses and granted
outdoor beer garden permits.
Harmel's Bear Den, Hurley Inn, and Silver Street Motel
were granted motel permits.
The Council approved restaurant registrations,
granted adult entertainment licenses and granted
cigarette licenses.
